Terms You Need To Know
Here are some terms you need to understand before you start searching:
- Abstract- The summary of an article
- Citation- The information you need to cite the article (author, title, etc.)
- Database- collection of information (book or magazine)
- Full-text- The entire article is in the database
- Peer-Review- A professional journal in a particular field of study
- Periodical- Anything published periodically- magazine, newspaper, journal
